I love this playful math idea from Playful Learning for slightly older children! This idea is simple, but grand. The idea is to use sticky notes to create a large pattern- how fun is that?!
Click the link above to access patterns for the children to use. Children feel like they are creating something large, but it’s so much more than that! They’re learning counting, spatial relations, colors, patterning, hand-eye coordination, and teamwork. This is a great winter activity that can be done on a wall, table, or a hard floor.
